Cambodia Initiates UNCLOS Conciliation Mechanism with Thailand Over Maritime Disputes

Cambodia has officially notified Thailand and the UN of its intent to initiate the compulsory conciliation mechanism under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) to resolve maritime border disputes. Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn briefed ambassadors and international organizations on this move.
