Acting Head of State Hun Sen expressed his satisfaction and support for the Vietnamese Minister of Public Security's remarks, stressing the importance of avoiding the use of Vietnamese territory for activities against Cambodia, or Cambodian territory for activities against Vietnam. He stated that both countries must cooperate to prevent such incidents. Furthermore, Acting Head of State Hun Sen urged both countries, especially local authorities along the border between Cambodia and Vietnam, to promote continuous cooperation to ensure security in the border areas.
