It is reported that rescue and clearing operations were carried out in cooperation with the Mogoke City West Reserve Fire Brigade, the Township Red Cross Unit, relevant departments, and social assistance organizations at the site where the retaining wall collapsed due to heavy rainfall. Similarly, in Aungtharlwin Ward, West Mogoke City, heavy rainfall caused a retaining wall to collapse, damaging one house. It is known that no one was injured in the incident where the retaining walls in Aungtharlwin Ward were eroded and collapsed. It is reported that the Township Fire Brigade, the Red Cross Unit, and the Parami Social Assistance Association are cooperating to provide assistance in clearing the damaged areas and offering necessary support. Parami Social Assistance Association has issued a notice and appeal, stating that in mountainous regions like Mogoke City, heavy rainfall during the rainy season can lead to landslides, retaining wall collapses, and natural disasters, and therefore, residents living near mountain slopes and retaining walls need to be extra vigilant and monitor their surroundings. "It has been a long time since there was a landslide in Mogoke. Panma Ward never had one before. Recently, it has been raining continuously, and the river water is quite high. The current is also strong. The water is not receding quickly. If this continues, water will reach inside houses in some places," said a Mogoke resident. ■
