Cambodia Hosts ASEAN Public Service Cooperation Meeting, Promoting Innovation and Experience Sharing

Cambodia is hosting the 23rd ASEAN Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCMS) and the 8th ASEAN+3 Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCMS+3) in Siem Reap from August 3 to 5, 2026. Under the theme "Innovation for Better Service Delivery," the meetings aim to strengthen cooperation, share experiences, and promote innovation in the public service sector among ASEAN member states and partner countries. On the first day of the meetings, August 3, 2026, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Public Service, H.E. Yook Bunna, led the 23rd ACCSM, which commenced in Siem Reap. The meeting was attended by senior officials of ACCSM, ACCSM focal points, and representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat. At the opening of the meeting, H.E. Yook Bunna led the review, discussion, and coordination of important legal documents, work progress, and various agendas with the heads of delegations from ASEAN member states. This is to ensure that the ministerial-level meeting, scheduled for the following days, achieves fruitful results and success. The significant regional meeting is held with the objective of strengthening cooperation, sharing experiences, and promoting innovation in the public service sector among ASEAN member states and partner countries, thereby enhancing the efficiency of public service delivery to citizens. The Ministry of Public Service of the Kingdom of Cambodia is the rotating chair leading the organization of the 23rd ACCSM, the 8th ACCSM+3, and related events. Source: AKP Khmer
