By 2026, marking its 20th anniversary, the university has graduated a total of 8,888 students, with 4,597 being women, accounting for 51.72%. The university also provides scholarship programs for students from underprivileged families to continue their higher education, supported by scholarships from former Prime Minister Hun Sen and his wife, as well as Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet. A total of 341 degree scholarships have been awarded since the 2012-2013 academic year. Prime Minister Hun Manet has shown a strong interest in the university even before assuming his current role, with this graduation ceremony marking his third appearance as a guest of honor. South East Asia University is an ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) member and actively engages in international educational cooperation. This includes establishing an information center in collaboration with the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNICEF, and The Asia Foundation; opening an American Library in partnership with the U.S. Embassy; and fostering exchange programs and joint research with universities in countries such as the United Kingdom, South Korea, China, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Spain, and Japan. These initiatives have earned the university high recognition within Cambodia. Approximately 70% of its students find employment while still studying, and the graduate employment rate stands at 92.40%.
