IKAL Lemhannas Formulates Strategic Programs to Support Prabowo's 'Asta Cita'

The Alumni Association of the National Resilience Institute (IKAL Lemhannas) recently held its first National Working Meeting (Rakernas). During the meeting, strategic programs were formulated to support the 'Asta Cita' (eight priorities) pledged by President-elect Prabowo Subianto. This move clearly indicates the stance of the Lemhannas alumni organization to engage more proactively and directly in Indonesia's future governance and policy implementation. IKAL Lemhannas aims to contribute to national development based on the strategic thinking and analytical capabilities cultivated at the institute. 'Asta Cita' is the collective term for the various policy goals that Prabowo promised to the public during the election campaign, encompassing economic growth, social welfare, infrastructure development, and security maintenance, among others. The programs formulated by IKAL Lemhannas are understood to include concrete pathways and recommendations for achieving these objectives. Lemhannas serves as a human resource development institution for national security and strategic development in Indonesia, having produced numerous high-ranking government officials and military leaders. Therefore, the recommendations from IKAL Lemhannas are also noteworthy from a practical perspective. This Rakernas can be seen as a declaration of intent by IKAL Lemhannas to not only function as an alumni association but also to play a role as a think tank for national problem-solving. Attention will now be focused on how the formulated programs will be put into action and reflected in the policies of the Prabowo administration.
