Massive Fire Engulfs Diaper Factory in Hanoi, Destroying 2,000 Sqm

A massive fire broke out at a diaper manufacturing plant exceeding 2,000 square meters in an industrial zone on the outskirts of Hanoi. According to local fire authorities, the blaze started on the afternoon of the 17th at a factory located in Hoai Duc district. Flames and thick black smoke billowed intensely, affecting the surrounding areas. Upon receiving the report, numerous fire trucks and personnel were dispatched to the scene to combat the fire. However, it is believed that a significant amount of flammable materials were stored inside the factory, causing the fire to spread rapidly and making suppression difficult. Ultimately, the factory was almost completely destroyed, resulting in extensive damage. At present, there is no confirmation of any casualties resulting from this fire. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the full extent of the damage. Vietnam has experienced remarkable economic growth in recent years, with many factories being built, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
