Kia Unveils New EV 'Carens EV' for Indonesian Market, Presenting Future of Electric Family Cars

Kia Sales Indonesia has officially presented the latest electrified vehicle, the Carens EV, at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, introducing a new option to the Indonesian automotive market. This new model embodies the South Korean manufacturer's vision of presenting a future of smarter, sustainable, and increasingly relevant family mobility to the needs of Indonesian society. Harry Yanto, VP Operation of Kia Sales Indonesia, stated, "Through Carens EV, we want to show how the Carens DNA can evolve into the electrification era without leaving the comfort, flexibility, and character that have always been the choice of Indonesian families." Exterior and Interior Design From VOI's direct monitoring at the Kia booth, the Carens EV comes with a modern and futuristic exterior design, as well as Kia's signature design language. The front comes with all-LED lights and distinctive lines. The front also comes with a charger port for charging. Modern features In addition to providing comfort, Carens EV is also designed with various safety technologies and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features to support a more practical, safe driving experience and provide peace of mind for all family members.
