Marcos Inspects Sual Fish Port, Mentions West Philippine Sea Patrols

SUAL, Pangasinan – President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Thursday inspected the newly rehabilitated and improved Sual fish port of the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) in Pangasinan. The project reportedly cost P600 million. Marcos also spoke with officers and crew of Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) vessels that are patrolling the West Philippine Sea. Two of these BFAR vessels were recently subjected to water-cannoning by the China Coast Guard. The President's visit highlights the government's focus on bolstering the country's fisheries infrastructure and ensuring maritime security in its waters.
