Young man drowns while swimming in Nay Pyi Taw

A 27-year-old man who went swimming in the Ye-ngan reservoir on Ye Myint Mo Road, Balathidda Ward, Zabu Thiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, drowned on the afternoon of September 9, according to an official from the Soe Moe Thu Charity Association. The deceased was a computer instructor at GTI (Nay Pyi Taw) and drowned while swimming with his friends, it was reported. Firefighters and the Soe Moe Thu Charity Association jointly went to the scene and conducted a search operation, discovering the drowned man's body shortly after 1 PM, according to an official from the Soe Moe Thu Charity Association. It is understood that the body of the man who drowned was subsequently transported to the Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1000 beds) by a vehicle from the Soe Moe Thu Charity Association.
