Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Pipat Ratchakitprakarn chaired the first meeting of the Water Pollution (Oil and Chemical) Management Committee, urging swift action following an oil spill on Rama 3 Road in Bangkok. The committee structure will utilize the existing framework, with a proposal to the Prime Minister to extend the tenure of expert members. Three sub-committees will be established, and progress will be reviewed in three months.
