Cambodia's National Committee for Disaster Management Appoints Two New Advisors
Cambodia's National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) held an appointment ceremony on August 5, appointing two new advisors, Suom Sirirat and Chin Kimling, under the chairmanship of First Vice President Kun Kim. Both are expected to play crucial roles in disaster management.
The National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) of Cambodia held an appointment ceremony on the afternoon of August 5, 2026, presided over by His Excellency Dr. Kun Kim, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the NCDM. The ceremony officially appointed two new advisors to the committee. His Excellency Dr. Kun Kim announced the appointment of His Excellency Suom Sirirat and Madam Chin Kimling as advisors, both holding the rank equivalent to Director-General. He instructed the newly appointed advisors to effectively carry out their roles and responsibilities in accordance with established principles and directives. Furthermore, His Excellency Dr. Kun Kim urged all members of the leadership to cooperate closely and perform their assigned duties with high efficiency.
