National Assembly Chairman's Visits to ROK, Mongolia Boost Diplomatic Ties

Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man concluded his official visits to the Republic of Korea (ROK) and Mongolia. These visits underscore the consistent importance that the Communist Party, State, and National Assembly of Vietnam attach to the bilateral Comprehensive Strategic Partnerships. During the visit to the ROK, the promotion of parliamentary diplomacy between the two countries was emphasized, with a focus on making effective use of the new pillar of science and technology collaboration to achieve breakthroughs in economic, trade, and investment cooperation. Chairman Man called on Vietnamese people residing in the ROK to continue strengthening solidarity, abiding by local laws, and contributing to bilateral ties while preserving the Vietnamese language, culture, and traditions. The visit to Mongolia also aims to strengthen political trust and create momentum for increasingly substantive and effective cooperation. These visits affirm Vietnam's commitment and desire to further advance its comprehensive strategic partnerships in a more substantive, effective, and sustainable manner. These high-level visits are in line with Vietnam's foreign policy, particularly as set out by the 14th National Party Congress and Politburo Resolution No. 06-NQ/TW, and concretize the orientations and agreements reached by Vietnam's senior leaders with the two partner countries. It was recognized that parliamentary diplomacy plays an important role in consolidating political trust, promoting and overseeing the implementation of high-level agreements, thereby making a positive contribution to peace, stability, and cooperation in the region and the world.
