3rd Cambodia–France Business Forum to Convene in Phnom Penh in November

PHNOM PENH, Sept. 4, 2026 (KPT) — The third Cambodia–France Business Forum will kick off on Nov. 16 in Phnom Penh, bringing together around 400 executives, investors and institutional representatives for two days of talks aimed at deepening economic and business cooperation, officials said Thursday. The Ministry of Commerce and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia (CCIFC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to co‑organize the forum, scheduled for Nov. 16–17. The ceremony was presided over by Commerce Minister Cham Nimul, with Tith Seychanly, Director General of Trade Policy and Promotion, and Julien Bert, Vice President of CCIFC, signing the agreement. The MoU outlines coordination, business participation and programme development responsibilities. Officials said the forum will serve as a platform to strengthen Franco‑Cambodian economic relations, develop strategic partnerships and raise visibility for companies and investors operating in Cambodia and beyond. The first day will feature senior political leaders and government officials from both countries, alongside business executives and investors. The second day will focus on practical engagement, including business‑to‑business (B2B) meetings, sectoral discussions, investment opportunities and networking. Organizers highlighted targeted B2B matching sessions, ministerial workshops and business‑to‑government (B2G) dialogues as key features, giving companies direct access to Cambodian authorities on regulatory issues and sector development. The Ministry of Commerce and CCIFC reaffirmed their commitment to facilitating trade, encouraging sustainable investment and expanding opportunities for enterprises in both markets, while thanking sponsors and partners supporting the forum.
