Vietnam's President Lam Addresses Strategic Partnership in Canada

On the afternoon of September 24 (local time), General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam delivered a policy address entitled "Vietnam–Canada Strategic Partnership in a Volatile World" in Ottawa, Canada. The speech outlined the direction for cooperation between Vietnam and Canada as strategic partners amidst increasingly complex international situations. The strategic partnership with Canada is positioned as part of Vietnam's foreign policy. The address also highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two nations on global issues such as climate change, sustainable development, and international security.
