Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Service, H.E. Hun Many, stated that the forum on good governance serves as a strategic mechanism to bring public services closer to and more responsive to the needs of the people. He made these remarks at the opening of the 23rd ASEAN Cooperation Meeting on Public Service (23rd ACCSM) and the 8th ASEAN+3 Cooperation Meeting on Public Service (8th ACCSM+3) in Siem Reap on the morning of August 4, 2026. The forum is organized with the aim of enhancing efficiency, transparency, and innovation in the public service sector among ASEAN member states and partner countries (ASEAN+3). H.E. Hun Many further stated that public service work significantly contributes to building a high-standard public administration and has expanded our cooperation. He continued that strengthening mutual and reciprocal cooperation between ASEAN member states and ASEAN+3 countries is truly indispensable. This work requires us to adopt a "collaborative" and "community-based" approach to seize opportunities, address challenges, find common solutions, and contribute to developing the public sector with greater efficiency, quality, and innovation.
