Cambodia Invites Indian Tech Firms to Invest in Digital Park

On July 31, 2026, H.E. Liv Sophanarith, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), received a delegation from the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) of India at the MPTC headquarters. During the discussions, both sides explored possibilities for cooperation in the digital sector. The Cambodian side presented the Ministry's work direction towards digital transformation in Cambodia through various initiatives, especially the Digital Park and the verify.gov.kh platform. They also urged Indian technology companies to consider investing in the Digital Park. Furthermore, Cambodia highlighted the benefits of verify.gov.kh and proposed that the Indian side examine the possibility of cooperation on this platform. Through this meeting, the Indian side introduced its technology delegation, provided an overview of India's strengths in the electronics and IT sectors, and identified opportunities for bilateral cooperation in digital transformation, e-governance, Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, digital public infrastructure, Financial Technology (FinTech), Smart Cities, and electronic components. They also discussed potential sectors for business cooperation, future collaborations, technology partnerships, and participation in major events such as INDIASOFT 2027. Both parties expressed their commitment to exploring possibilities for expanding cooperation in the digital technology sector in Cambodia and encouraging Indian technology companies to invest in the Kingdom.
