Chiang Mai Finalizes Preparations for ICOMOS Expert Evaluation of 8 World Heritage Sites

In Chiang Mai, northern Thailand, preparations are entering their final stage for the upcoming evaluation by the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), a consultative body of UNESCO, for eight cultural heritage sites nominated for World Heritage status.
