Phnom Penh Conducts Sweeping Checks on Foreign Residents; 16 Found Without Proper Documentation

Phnom Penh authorities inspected 80 locations in a single day as part of a crackdown on online scams and to strengthen residency management. While 1,354 foreigners were found residing, 16 were present without valid passports. Equipment suspected of links to scam operations was also discovered at some sites.
