Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Visits South Korea and Mongolia to Strengthen Strategic Partnerships

Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man paid official visits to South Korea and Mongolia from September 6 to 11, at the invitation of South Korean National Assembly Speaker Cho Jeong Sik and Mongolian Parliament Speaker Sandag Byambatsogt. The visits aimed to further deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and South Korea, and the Comprehensive Partnership between Vietnam and Mongolia. During his visit to South Korea, discussions focused on promoting economic cooperation, investment, and people-to-people exchanges, with the goal of ushering in a new phase of development for bilateral relations. Vietnam welcomes investment from South Korea, particularly in high-tech industries and infrastructure. South Korea is a key investor in Vietnam and a major partner supporting its economic growth. In Mongolia, discussions centered on strengthening cooperation to elevate the comprehensive partnership between the two countries to a new level. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing collaboration in the economic, trade, cultural, and tourism sectors. Vietnam and Mongolia share a historically friendly relationship and have been expanding economic cooperation opportunities in recent years. These visits are part of Vietnam's diplomatic efforts to strengthen its regional and international ties and promote economic growth. Under its one-party system, Vietnam maintains political stability while advancing market economic reforms and deepening international engagement.
