Myanmar President to Visit Cambodia

At the invitation of His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Excellency Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, will pay a state visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia from September 11 to 12, 2026. During this visit, His Excellency Senior General Min Aung Hlaing is scheduled to hold a summit with Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State, and hold bilateral discussions with Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The leaders of the two countries will discuss strengthening closer relations and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as exchanging views on various regional and international issues of common concern. His Excellency the President of Myanmar will also lay a wreath to honor the memory of the victims at the Independence Monument and at the statue of His Majesty Preah Borom Ratanak Kaut, the former King of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Father of National Liberation, Khmer. The state visit of His Excellency Senior General Min Aung Hlaing underscores the common goal of further strengthening the warm friendship between the two countries and peoples.
