Four Dagon Myothit townships designated as special development zone outside Yangon

DEVELOPMENT projects have been still underway in four Dagon Myothit townships as a part of special development zone outside Yangon, Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant told the Pyithu Hluttaw. He replied to the question raised by Pyithu Hluttaw MP Dr Shwe Pyi Soe from Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Constituency in Pyithu Hluttaw meeting on 17 July, “Is there any upgrade plan for Dagon Myothit district through the road connecting districts and a special economic zone plan in the district? ” The Union Minister responded that master plan for upgrading Yangon has been already written and according to it, four Dagon Myothit townships are located primarily in it. In addition, the implementation of the special development zone project has been continued according to different financial years and it also features housing projects that are being planned to build by the foreign investment, he said. Development projects will continue to be implemented in the four major townships for Yangon upgrade plan for Dagon Myothit (North), Dagon Myothit (South), Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) and Dagon Myothit (East), said the Union Minister. — TWA/ZS Four Dagon Myothit townships’ map.

Aung San's words of "If the country does not trust, we will leave" and the power-hungry who are hated by the people

"We did not come to power by force to become the government of this country. We are the government with the support of the people. The day we know the country does not trust us, we will not stay, we will not cling, we will leave," said national leader General Aung San in a historic speech, which is as different as the sky and the earth when compared to the current political situation in Myanmar. The true people's soldier who would immediately step down if the country did not trust him, and the pseudo-military leaders who, even if completely rejected by the people today, seize power and rule by force with aerial bombardments, are as different as oil and water. The pseudo-government led by the coup leader has become so insane that it cannot let go of power after losing the support of the people. It has brazenly displayed a madness that it will continue to rule the country even with the last remaining person, if there are no supporters. To cover up their bad image and prevent backlash and condemnation from the public, the military has openly used the speeches of General Aung San, the father of the army, who is respected by the entire nation, for propaganda. "It is most disgusting to see General's election speeches published daily in military-backed newspapers to threaten the people. Now, why are they stealing and destroying statues of General? " a political analyst criticized. Although coup leader Min Aung Hlaing, who seized power, cited "vote rigging and fraud" by the civilian government as an excuse for his illegal coup, he has consistently burned and destroyed the voter lists, ballots, and documents that could prove his claims. To prolong the unpopular system of governance, the military has extended its term of power every six months under the guise of "extending the interim administrative term." The military leader Min Aung Hlaing, after forming various organizations such as the State Administration Council and the Election Commission, not only remained in the chairmanship but also shamelessly took over the position of interim president of the country with a single notification of his reappointment. "Whether the people trust us or not is irrelevant. The main thing is to gain power. It's one path to Nirvana and one path to hell, just like General's path," said an analyst. Ultimately, to gain favor with the international community and ASEAN, the military created a fraudulent election by carrying out nationwide aerial bombardments, and forcibly held onto the titles of interim president, "State President" emerging from the fraudulent election, or acting president. Knowing that the people do not trust or want them at all, they labeled those who did not support them as "terrorists" and carried out blatant aerial killings. The military junta, which has a fascist nature, is considered by the people to be so shameless that it cannot even dare to attend the ceremony for the (79th) Martyrs' Day today to pay homage to the true martyrs who prioritized the welfare of the people. Furthermore, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the daughter of General Aung San and the leader of the people, who is always used by the military junta, cannot even be brought out among the people, and it has not even been proven that she is still alive today. These actions clearly show a deliberate attempt to erase the histories of General Aung San and his daughter from the hearts of the people. The military junta, which is trying to legitimize itself through sham elections without any popular support, is currently facing defeats on military fronts across the country. To prop up its collapsing fronts, the military is continuing its battles by targeting Myanmar's youth, conscripting them, and forcibly sending them to the front lines. According to analyses by Myanmar's political observers and civil society organizations, the military junta has no intention of relinquishing state power despite the lack of public trust, and is fighting battles relying solely on quantity (manpower) rather than quality for the sake of maintaining power. However, in these operations, the military personnel are facing mass deaths, injuries, desertions, and surrenders, and are in a state of significant military defeat. Unable to fight the ethnic armed organizations confronting them, the militarily weakened military junta attempted to force a ceasefire and halt arms supplies to resistance organizations influenced by China, with the support and influence of China. In order to achieve these ceasefire agreements, the military junta had to concede all the long-term interests of Myanmar and all the requirements demanded by China, as its own military and political efforts proved futile. On the other hand, the military junta is unable to defeat organizations like the Arakan Army (AA), which have grown militarily and politically strong without direct Chinese influence, and cannot compete with them politically either. Therefore, they are brazenly committing war crimes by targeting innocent civilians in the territories administered by the AA, as they have always done, by carrying out aerial bombardments and killings. Despite being detested and distrusted by the entire population, the military junta shows no intention of relinquishing its political, administrative, and power positions. The people are shocked and dismayed that even today, within this deeply entrenched military organization, there is not a single soldier who possesses the spirit of a soldier, the spirit of a man, empathy, or the ability to think and see like a human being. "It has come to the point where one has to ask, 'Is this a soldier?
