It is reported that houses located in the expansion area of the industrial zone in Ward No. 12, Ayethaya Town, Taunggyi Township, have been declared encroached upon and the first warning notice has been posted, stating that they were illegally constructed. It was found that houses in the industrial zone expansion area of Ward No. 12, Ayethaya Town, were illegally constructed without land grant permission. It is stated that the notice was issued in accordance with Section 25 (d) of the Upper Burma Land and Revenue Regulation Act of 1889 and Rule 69 (1). Failure to comply with the order stated in the notice will result in action under Section 25 (d) of the Upper Burma Land and Revenue Regulation Act of 1889 and Rule 69 (2). It is stated that the notice was signed and issued by the District Administrator in accordance with Resolution 5 (a) of the District Administration and Management Committee meeting held on September 10, 2026. "We have been making a living here since 1988. The students are also here, and we have been planting corn in this field every year. In 2006, when they said they were expanding Zone 3, they brought in bulldozers and built roads without consulting the farmers. Many things were destroyed, and we have been unhappy ever since. A notice was posted saying we have to move out within 21 days, or we will be punished. We have no one to rely on. They even said they would put it in the newspaper. We are truly at a disadvantage. We have been making a living here since before the zone was established. This is the only field we have, and we have no other place to live. We have no other place to live. We cannot move out under any circumstances. If the state were to confiscate it, it would be different. If it is a state project, it is different, but we cannot move out. We have students too," said Daw Nyunt Nyunt Swe, the owner of the field. "We were told to move out within 21 days. When we asked what was needed, they left without answering. My son is also suffering from kidney disease. How will I take care of the students? Where will we live?
